Comments: Dr. Cumbie is a great surgeon and good person, who replaced by right hip. I am a 72 year old male.
Before surgery it took 5 minutes to get out of the car. Frequently, after finding a shopping cart to hold on to, I would have to return to the car without finishing shopping.
After hip surgery - Days 1-4 - I used a walker, and the pain was in control with only a portion of the pain medication.
Day 5 was turn around day as I used no walker, went to rehab, and walked 3/4 of a mile.
Day 6 - I worked in the yard for 5 hours.
Day 14 - I have no pain, have been to rehab 3 times, and can do anything I want. I am excited about my new hip and new life.
